53. Stephen Denmark, CB

Stephen Denmark is the first 2019 draft pick to crack our list. This would make sense considering he was their last draft pick. It would also make sense that he would sit right around number 53 as most seventh-round draft picks are going to be fringe roster players. Remember, no long snapper topped this list pre-training camp.

So, Denmark will have every chance to earn a roster spot but may be right on the outside looking in. Denmark is a supreme upside prospect who has elite size, strength, speed, and athleticism. However, he is a former wide receiver from Valdosta State.

He is raw as a cornerback, and has barely been tested in his play. Many think that he may get claimed on waivers, but the team that claims him has to keep him active for three weeks. It will be a tough call considering how far away he could be.

A year on the practice squad may be for the best, but he certainly could intrigue enough in the preseason to make that idea impossible.
