39. Ted Larsen, OL

Ted Larsen does not have much longterm value, but his 2019 potential could leave him underrated on this list. Larsen was signed as the team let Eric Kush and Bryan Witzmann find jobs elsewhere. What that means is that Larsen currently sits as the top backup at both guard and center.

Of course, if James Daniels went down, the team could go to Cody Whitehair at center. Still, that would leave Larsen at guard as well. On top of that, the big concern with Larsen comes to Kyle Long.

Long is a great athlete and makes the offense better as a whole. This has been proven. However, he has also missed eight games in each of the past three seasons. That is not a player you want to bet on healthwise.

This leaves a wide possibility for Larsen to have to jump into the lineup. While that could push him up further, it is tough to say the Bears should be confident having to start long stretches of games with Larsen. If Long were taken out mid-game, or they needed a veteran presence for a midseason start, Larsen has value.

However, Alex Bars, Marquez Tucker, and Sam Mustipher were added as UDFA lineman for a reason. The Bears are hoping sooner, not later that one of these youth names step up to the plate.
