Where does the rookie stock stand heading into his first training camp with the Chicago Bears?

Then, heading into rookie minicamp, the third rounder impressed. While he was not the first round pick, he acted as if he was, and carried himself like a player who was defining their draft class.
From there, he moved into OTAs with the veterans and did not miss a beat. Veterans talked about his professionalism, and beat writers praised his ability to instantly jump in without hesitation.
Heading into the start of training camp and preseason Montgomery has the chance to cement himself in as the top starter, and a potential 200 carry runner. Based on the way that his offseason has gone so far, he is the leader in the clubhouse to make this happen.
