Is the stock on Chicago Bears outside linebacker Leonard Floyd on the rise or decline?

Leonard Floyd has not had many offseasons go his way. Most years he is recovering from this, or trying to get back from that.  Last offseason it was expected that things were going to go just fine until a broken hand saw him playing half of the year with a cast on his hand.

However, by the end of his season, something that happened that was rare for Floyd. He stayed healthy. So, he now enters year four with the most potential he could possibly have.

To start, the Bears picked up his fifth-year tender. They have consistently bought into him and will hope to get the most out of him. They hardly improved their depth at the position, let alone brought in competition for Floyd.

On top of that, we will see Floyd healthy through an entire offseason for the first time since he was drafted. There are no health excuses. There is no experience excuse. He has worked through a full offseason, he went through all of OTAs and should be good to go in camp.

He now has Khalil Mack across from him, which should only create more chances for himself. This has to be the biggest season of Leonard Floyd’s career.

Entering camp there is no reason not to bet on Floyd putting up his career high in sacks, as well as continuing his role off of the ball. He is stock up player.
