29. Adam Shaheen
Last Year: 25
From the number three tight end to number two. Adam Shaheen was expected to be a key piece of this offense. However, as the time has gone by, his stock on the roster has consistently dropped. Injuries have been the main issue for Shaheen, but with that is a player set to enter year three in the NFL with limited playing experience.
In a perfect world, Trey Burton is the move tight end who helps identify matchups. Sowell is the pure blocking tight end considering his history. Meanwhile, Shaheen is slotted in as the seam splitter. He is the player to take the top off over the middle and in the red zone.
When Matt Nagy can get all three rolling, his offense is firmly in place. Without Shaheen, he is missing a piece. The reliance on Shaheen is real, but his ability to live up to the moment has him as likely to fall on this list next year as he has to rise. Health will be a key determining factor.
