27. Cordarelle Patterson

Cordarelle Patterson was brought in as a free agent this offseason and instantly cracks the top 30. Patterson is going to be listed as a wide receiver, but he should be an offensive weapon on the depth chart. More specifically, Matt Nagy is calling him a Trojan player.

This appears to be the new role designed for Patterson. While he is a receiver, he is much better with the ball in his hands than he is running routes. Motion, jet sweep, screens, and even straight handoffs are on the table with Patterson.

On top of that, he can return kicks. Patterson is not going to be listed as a starter. He is not one of the top 22 players on the roster. However, he cracks the top 30 because he certainly will have a role. He may have an impact bigger than some think as his versatility will be something that Matt Nagy craves.
