22. Haha Clinton-Dix

Clinton-Dix checks in at number 22. Of the top 11 players on both sides, he checks in as a full-time starter ready to get his career right in Chicago.

There seems to be a big debate about what exactly Clinton-Dix is. He brings more splash plays than Adrian Amos but also gives up more big plays than Amos. Washington and Green Bay fans will tell you that Clinton-Dix is bad, but the reality is that he is coming off of his worst season.

Green Bay told him they would not re-sign him and as the season got more and more awkward, they moved on. Washington is a dumpster fire and finished the season limping to the finish line. That gave the Bears a chance to sweep in and sign the safety for a low downside, high upside bargain.

Clinton-Dix is back with Eddie Jackson, a friend and former teammate, and is in a good spot for his career. So, while he isn’t an elite performer, he does help the starting group.
