Who are the top three players on the Chicago Bears roster?

We finally made it. Through a series of posts that have gone through the entire Chicago Bears roster, we have looked at every player from 90-1.  Now, we have made it to the top three. These players seem to stand apart from the rest.

They are the leaders of the team. The Bears roll as these three faces of the franchise role.  You probably know who the top three, but to summarize the top ten Charles Leno came in at number 10. Allen Robinson ranked ninth while Danny Trevathan ranked eight. Cody Whitehair ranked seventh, Roquan Smith sixth, and Kyle Fuller and Eddie Jackson led us to the top three. For number three we have Akiem Hicks.

No. 3 Akiem Hicks

Last Year: No.  1

The drop of Akiem Hicks has little to do with his own play, and more to do with the acquisition and addition of number one and number on this list. However, for two seasons there was no doubt that entering camp Akiem Hicks was the best player on the Bears roster.

Hicks has 22.5 sacks over the past three seasons. Considering his role on the defense this is very impressive and speaks to his overall value to the defense.

Hicks is entering his age 30 season, He should be right on the edge of his prime which means a few more quality seasons. Entering camp he is clearly standing at the podium as one of the three best players on the team.
