Chicago Bears top 3 players entering 2019
No. 1 Khalil Mack
Last Year: Not on the roster
It is never a bad thing to add the best player on the entire roster after training camp. We all saw the impact that Khalil Mack had on the Bears, and they would make that trade 100 times out of 100. Now, Mack has a chance to be even better in 2019.
That is right, Mack is coming into the second year of his first new contract. He is still 28 years old. This is the heart of his prime.
On top of that, we have a player who did not participate in any offseason activity. He was not there for camp or the preseason. He got on the field and instantly made an impact though.
Now, he knows his teammate’s tendencies. He knows how to work off of them and as the line works with a full offseason, they should only flow better together as a group.
Heading into 2019 there is no doubt about it. The success of Mitch Trubisky is as important, if not more than Mack. However, if we were doing an NFL re-draft, Mack would be arguably the top non-quarterback taken. He is an elite player at an important position and is hands down the top player on the roster.
