Over the past few years, Chicago Bears fans have not seen any players from their beloved team among the top 100 players in the NFL. Well, yesterday that drought ended with the appearance of Bears cornerback Kyle Fuller.

On the first episode of The Top 100 Players of 2019, Fuller was revealed as the league’s 95th best player. It took five years for Fuller to finally crack this list, and if he builds on what he did in 2018, he should make a repeat appearance on next year’s top 100.

More from Chicago Bears News

Fuller was tied for first in the NFL with seven interceptions, and was topped the league with 21 pass breakups in 2018. As a result, the six-year veteran was selected to his first Pro Bowl, and was named to his first All-Pro team.

With the all the success Chicago achieved last year, there should be a number of other Bears players to follow Fuller on this top 100 list. It goes without saying that outside linebacker Khalil Mack will be on the list, and should be in the top 10. Other players should include All-Pro free safety Eddie Jackson, and Pro Bowl defensive lineman Akiem Hicks.

Even with other Bears making the Pro Bowl last season, we could possibly be surprised with one more unexpected player to make this list. We’ll just have to tune in and see.
