1. Duke Shelley

Duke Shelley is the player to watch through the camp, and not only the first preseason game but the entire preseason schedule. Shelley flew under the radar in the draft process but jumped on the map when the Chicago Bears drafted him in the seventh round.

The team has  Buster Skrine, but Shelley has a chance to be the longterm slot option for the team. Reports out of camp have said that the competition may have come faster than expected.  Shelley has a chance to show that he can get on the field right away with a strong preseason.

Skrine may play a little, but the first game will likely see Shelley early into the game. He will have plenty of chances to make a play, and if he can set a tone in the first game, the competition could start to heat up for the next game.
