2. vs Kansas City – Week 16

The only thing that could keep this from being one of the best, if not the best, game of the year is that it is in Week 16 and both teams could have already clinched their playoff position. While the Bears fans would love that, it would be great to see this game mean something. If it does, it could match up the top offense and the top defense. Patrick Mahomes was unbelievable last year and even if he slips just a little he is still one of the best players in the league. This probably will be the toughest test of the year for the Bears and the offense will have to be ready to play. The Chiefs defense was better last year but you could definitely score on them. It’s tough to say this could be a high scoring game with the Bears defense but it could be. This is also scheduled for Sunday night and should be great. This would be the top game of the year for the Bears if it weren’t for the first game of the year. The Bears don’t see the Chiefs often and this will probably be must-watch football.

1. vs Green Bay – Week1

The opening Thursday game to start the NFL season is usually reserved for the Super Bowl champ, until this year. The NFL is celebrating the 100th anniversary and thought the Packers and Bears were the best way to open the season. I may be impartial but they were right. What better way to start the season than with arguably the best rivalry in the history of the NFL. The Bears and Packers is always a special game(s) but this makes it even better. They get to open the season with all eyes on them. The Bears are looking to start off their quest for a repeat against their hated rival. As has been listed earlier in this list the Bears have a lot of great games this year, but none better than leading off the NFL season against the Packers. This is the best game of their schedule this year.

This season should be great football for Bears fans to watch. It won’t be easy but with winning your division comes a tougher schedule. This should be a fun year to be a fan of the Bears and we all should be treated to a group of great games.
