Who are five Chicago Bears who need to step up their game in the second game of the preseason?

Last week was all about the Chicago Bears learning about the back end of the roster players. Who could stand out when the lights came on? Week two is about watching those players take on a heavier workload, or work with a higher team in practice to note the reaction.

However, for some players, the first week of the preseason could have seen them behind the eight ball. Their performance may or may not have pushed them down or off of the roster, but it brought questions. Other players success has them working to keep up.

These five players will need to prove that they can improve after last week or others could pass them on the depth chart or on the roster.

5. Eddy Pineiro

The first one is rather obvious. Pineiro missed a kick last week while Elliott Fry did not. Pineiro had a longer kick, a 48-yard attempt. Nonetheless, Pinerio needs to make kicks to make the roster.

Fortunately for him, the preseason does not end in week one. While Fry is off to a small lead, there are three more games, and Matt Nagy has been adamant about getting his kickers chances in those games,

Expect at least two attempts from Pinerio, whether it be PAT or field goals. Distance will not matter, makes and misses will. Pineiro has to make kicks this week if he wants to keep his job.
