The Green Bay Packers currently has two kickers on their roster: 13-year veteran Mason Crosby and Sam Ficken. So far this preseason, both kickers have made their lone field goal attempt. With one year left on his contract, the Packers could decide to release Crosby in an effort to add $3.6 million to their salary cap.

Last season, Crosby did have a game he would love to forget. The soon-to-be 34-year-old missed four kicks in a game (just like another kicker who played for the Bears last year). However, Crosby did finish 2018 with a conversion percentage of 81.1, and has a career conversion percentage of 80.4. One other attractive characteristic is the fact that Crosby knows how to kick in cold weather, and could possibly adjust to the wind in Soldier Field better than any available kicker out there right now.
