Who are five players with the most to prove in the Chicago Bears third preseason game?

The Chicago Bears are resting their starters but it does not mean the football being play means nothing. You are only as good as your depth and the Chicago Bears have learned that they need to establish depth roles and bottom end spots at different positions.

What are the most important positions to watch, and who are the players that could make the most of these games and see a bigger 2019 role?

5. Ryan Nall

Last season the game looked too big for Nall. Nall is never going to be a speed back, and he is never going to dominate the NFL. However, from year one to two it seems as though he has understood, embraced and attempted to master his role.

He can give power running, he can motion into an h-back role and he could be a player catches enough passes and blocks enough to suffice for some of the lack of tight end depth.

Nall is battling with Kerrith Whyte for a spot and Whyte has speed and a dynamic nature over him. However, Nall has the versatility and blocking, and if he can master special teams he will demand a spot. Watch for Nall to continue to be used in different areas of the game in the next two weeks.
