After the preseason, what could the Chicago Bears 53-man roster look like?

The preseason is officially over. While the Chicago Bears are a team with most of their roster set, the last few weeks have given the team a good look at some of the end of the roster players to help make depth chart decisions.

With that in mind, we are more equipped to predict the 53-man roster than ever before. Of course, as the winds start to swirl in the next few days the roster could see some change, but nothing will be dramatic.

With that in mind, who should make the 53-man roster (We really have 53 players this time)

Quarterback (2): Mitch Trubisky, Chase Daniel

This has been cut and dry the entire time. Tyler Bray has been uninspiring.

Running back (4): David Montgomery, Tarik Cohen, Mike Davis, Ryan Nall

Nall playing in Week 4 while Kerrith Whyte hardly saw any time is worth noting. However, that may be a plan to stash Whyte on the practice squad, as Nall can wear more hats for this roster.

Wide receiver (6): Allen Robinson, Taylor Gabriel, Anthony Miller, Cordarelle Patterson, Javon Wims, Riley Ridley

Marvin Hall did not play in Week 4 of the preseason. Is he ahead of Nall and Whyte?

Tight end (5): Trey Burton, Adam Shaheen, Ben Braunecker, Bradley Sowell, Ian Bunting

Jesper Horsted played well but Ian Bunting has put multiple strong weeks together. Bunting has also been strong on special teams.

Offensive line (8): Charles Leno, Bobby Massie, Kyle Long, Cody Whitehair, James Daniels, Ted Larsen, Alex Bars, Rashaad Coward

Coward may wind up on the IR which would open a roster spot up. However, that spot may go to a player outside the organization.

Defensive line (6): Akiem Hicks, Eddie Goldman, Bilal Nichols, Roy Robertson-Harris, Jon Bullard, Nick Williams

Williams has secured a spot over the past two weeks, but Abdullah Anderson has played well also.

Outside linebacker (5): Khalil Mack, Leonard Floyd, Aaron Lynch, Isaiah Irving, James Vaughters

Vaughters has combined special teams with defensive splash plays to earn a roster spot.

Inside linebacker (4): Roquan Smith, Danny Trevathan, Kevin Pierre-Louis, Nick Kwiatkoski

With guys such as Vaughters, Nall, and Bunting getting special teams roles. it gets easier to leave off Iggy by the day.

Cornerback (5): Kyle Fuller, Prince Amukamara, Buster Skrine, Duke Shelley, Kevin Toliver

The Bears have competed for the sixth cornerback spot, but a couple should wind up on practice squad.

Safety (5): Haha Clinton-Dix, Eddie Jackson, Deon Bush, DeAndre Houston-Carson, Sherrick McManis

McManis and Houston-Carson also bring enough special teams value to keep around.

Special teams (3): Eddy Piniero, Patrick Scales, Pat O Donnell

Piniero is going to make it. From there, we will see.
