Week 7 vs New Orleans Saints

The Saints appear to be very good this year and even though there is some rumblings of Drew Brees losing a little bit, he is still a top tier quarterback.

The last time these two teams played was in 2017 and while the game was closer than expected the Saints really didn’t have much trouble. The Bears have struggled against Brees and the Saints lately losing the last four times they have played.

It will be the toughest test for the Bears so far in the season and the only positive is that they get them in Chicago. This is one of a couple possible NFC championship previews the Bears could p;lay this year and it should be very entertaining.

There are not a lot of teams that can slow down Brees and company and it will be tough for the Bears to do it also. Even with the Bears defense playing well the Saints should be able to put up some points. Combine that with the fact that the Saints defense was much improved last year and it will take a great game to win.

New Orleans leaned more on their rushing attack last year with Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram, but Ingram left in free agency. Will Kamara be able to shoulder the load as he will now be the featured back If he can this will be a very dangerous team.

Give Brees weapons and he will pick you apart and he has plenty at his disposal. The Beras limit their chances but can’t completely shut them down as the Saints hand the Bears their first loss of the year.

Prediction – Saints 28, Bears 21
