These 5 players may have a bigger impact on the Chicago Bears Week 1 game than some are thinking

We know the key matchups. Mitch Trubisky in year of two of Matt Nagy against Aaron Rodgers with his new offensive minded head coach. Khalil Mack and Leonard Floyd against David Bakhtiari and Bryan Bulaga. These will be the matchups that will be talked about the most.

However, it usually comes down to things that are not as often talked about that make the difference. Who are five players that may currently be flying a bit under the radar, but will have a huge impact on whether the Bears win in Week 1 or not.

5.  Cordarelle Patterson

Patterson is a potential underrated x-factor for the season. However, the unveiling of his usage could be in Week 1 against the Packers. Remember last season when Matt Nagy did not show anything and then unveiled a ton of new looks against the Packers in Week 1?

The Bears cannot renew their entire playbook this year, but Patterson is a new wrinkle who can be shown in Week 1.

Patterson can lineup at receiver and motion to running back. He can take jet sweeps, hand offs, and run routes. His pre-snap motion ability could get the Packers off-guard, and get him ideal matchups.

Do not be surprised if Patterson has a big week against the Packers, especially with a few splash plays in the first half.
