Everyone expected Mitchell Trubisky to take a step from last season’s Pro Bowl production, and that he did. Unfortunately, the three-year veteran took a step backwards. Trubisky looked far from impressive, finishing the night completing 26 of 45 passes for 228 yards, zero touchdowns, and a costly interception in the red zone late in the fourth quarter. That pick, which was on the Bears’ longest drive of the game, happened due to Trubisky staring down his receiver in the end zone. The 25-year-old probably should’ve had a couple of more interceptions.
