It may take a little more time for Chicago’s starting offensive line to get some chemistry going. The Bears surrendered a total of five sacks on the night. James Daniels gave up at least one of those sacks, and he also whiffed on a block on a crucial third-and-one, allowing Green Bay to stuff Patterson in the backfield on the run. Kyle Long was flagged for a holding penalty, and Charles Leno Jr. committed two penalties on back-to-back plays, which helped put Chicago in a disastrous first-and-40.
