What fans of the Chicago Bears saw on Thursday night is not something that is sitting with them well.

Going into their game against the Green Bay Packers, fans felt that the Chicago Bears were going to not only start the season with a win but roll to the Super Bowl.

If you saw any of that game on Thursday night, you might not think that the Bears are Super Bowl contenders. Their play, on offense, was a mere shadow of what it was in 2018.

Now we ask, can they rebound from their dismal performance?

But is it time to head for exits on this season already. Can the season be salvaged? Remember, it’s just one game. This is the first game of a new season. There are 15 more games that will be played and the Bears will win a majority of those games.

It’s no time to worry.

How can the Bears come back from their game one loss to improve their play and win more games? It all starts with the coaching staff. The coaching staff has got to set the players up to win by putting them in a position to win. Head coach Matt Nagy has got to coach his players better and make sure that they are on the right page with him (and with the others).

Most importantly, Nagy has to better prepare quarterback Mitchell Trubisky for games much better than he did Thursday night. Trubisky has the weapons but does he have the ability to run the offense and get a win for his team? That question will be answered as the season goes on.

At any rate, this being Trubisky’s third year in the NFL and his second in Nagy’s offense, it’s about time he showed something positive. If he can’t, then the Bears made a gigantic mistake in the draft just a few seasons ago.

Nagy needs to use the weapons that he has around Trubisky and get Trubisky to get the ball out to those weapons. In addition to that, he needs to manage the clock better and rethink some of his play calling.

Remember it’s only one game folks. Just one game into the season and we are calling for the end of the Trubisky era and the firing of Ryan Pace. Whenever things go south, people call for heads to roll and the end of careers. But that’s not right.

Not after one game.

The Bears will win many more games this year. Chicago will find some improvement over this first game that will carry them through the rest of the season and hopefully into the playoffs. The Bears are a well put together and talented franchise. They are too talented to let Thursday’s performance get them down and dictate their season.

Next. 5 Bears that gave optimism in Week 1. dark

They will win more games and they will play better. Hands down.

So, folks, it’s not time to sound the alarm just yet. There is plenty of football to be played and the Bears are up to the task.
