If the Chicago Bears win these five matchups, they should walk away with a win on Sunday

The season did not start as strong as expected, but a loss last season in Week 1 led to a playoff run. Do not count out the Chicago Bears yet. However, Week 2 has become crucial. Starting 0-2 is completely different and would put the team in a hole they were not in last season.

While the Bears played a home game in Week 2 last year, this season presents a tougher challenge. Not only do they have to go on the road, but they also have to go to Denver, to play in the altitude to take on their former defensive coordinator in Vic Fangio.

Fangio knows a ton about them as they know the same of Fangio. With a huge game coming, these are the five matchups that the team must win if they want to have any chance of staying relevant this year.

5. Von Miller and Bradley Chubb vs. Charles Leno and Bobby Massie

This one may give Bears fans some pause. This may not be a matchup the team has to dominate, but they have to win this. They have to find a way to neutralize the two-headed monster that is Miller and Chubb.

We all know Von Miller and his Super Bowl MVP background. However, the addition of Chubb last season turned the duo into one of the most feared in the NFL. Chubb put up ten sacks last season.

Chubb and Miller were expected to put on a show against the Raiders shuffling offensive line, but the two struggled in primetime.

Now, they get Leno and Massie fresh off of Week 1. When you think of the Bears line, the big names are on the interior. However, Leno and Massie held their own all of last season and were two underrated tackles.

Massie gave up two pressures last week, while Leno was hit with four. If the duo can put together a similar performance that will be all they need. However, if the two pass rushers start collecting sacks, it is going to be a start to a long season.
