It’s time for Mitchell Trubisky to put last week’s performance in the rearview mirror. The third-year pro out of North Carolina didn’t look sharp in the season opener, and ended the game with a red-zone interception that sealed the Bears’ fate. Hopefully, Trubisky can improve on the 62.1 QB rating he put up in Week 1.

The Broncos finished 2018 ranking 20th in the league in pass defense (245.6 yards per game). Even with that great pass rush, Denver has had some trouble defending the pass. The fact that Broncos cornerback Bryce Callahan is listed as questionable with a foot injury might help Trubisky and the Bears’ offense. Nevertheless, Chicago’s franchise quarterback must turn things around on his end, and not totally leave it up to the defense to win this game.
