If the Chicago Bears can shut down these three underrated studs, they should be able to win their Week 3 game on the road

Almost all Chicago Bears fan expect their team to beat the Washington Redskins. Washington enters the game 0-2 and did not enter the season with favorable expectations, either. Many anticipated them to be there, and would not be surprised if 0-3 went to 0-4 and so on.

However, this is still an NFL team playing for something. They do not have supreme superstars that everybody knows. However, they do have a competent roster ready to compete next week. If the Bears think they are a star-less team they will lose. Here are five players who are living up to, or beyond their name value in Washington.

5. Brandon Scherff

An offensive lineman is not going to stand out when looking at an NFL roster. When it comes to Scherff, it probably should. There are not many talents on the Washington roster better than Scherff.

Scherff was selected in the top 10 of the 2015 NFL draft, taken two picks before Kevin White. As White has moved on, Scherff has become on of the best talents at his position.

Scherff has been elite before a season ending injury last year. However, his injury started a pile of injuries that turned a 6-2 start for Washington into a dumpster fire. The offensive line doubled in sack rate without him.

Since he has been back, he has been excellent in two games, allowing just 2 pressures. He is dominant in the run game, and will give Eddie Goldman a tough match. With Bilal Nichols banged up, look for a fight in the interior as Washington tries to establish a downhill rush attack.
