1. Force Turnovers

Last year the Bears led the league in turnovers and it helped lead them to a division title. This year through two games they have just one. That turnover ended up being big as Kyle Fuller intercepted a pass inside the five when it looked like the Broncos were about to score.

Chicago has a great defense, but they need to start forcing teams into turnovers and get off the field. A lot of times turnovers will put a team in great field position also and with the way the Bears offense has been playing that would be huge.

Case Keenum, the Redskins quarterback, has surprisingly not thrown an interception yet this year, but it would be great for the Bears to change that stat. Last year Keenum threw 15 interceptions in 16 games with the Broncos so he can be pressured into making mistakes. The Bears need to capitalize on those opportunities that he will more than likely give the Bears.

The Redskins have run for a total of 75 yards in their first two games, so the pressure has squarely been on Keenum’s shoulders. Chicago should be able to pin their ears back, attack Keenum and reap the benefits. Hopefully, those benefits will be turnovers. If they can force two or more in this game they walk out of Washington with another road win.
