With a fairly balanced attack (31 passes and 25 runs), Chicago’s running game was given the chance to do some damage. Of the 25 rushing attempts, 18 of them were handled by the running backs. For the second week in a row, rookie David Montgomery led the charge with 13 carries for 67 yards—most of this production came late in the game when the offense was preserving the victory. Montgomery also added three catches for 14 yards.

As for Mike Davis and Tarik Cohen, their contribution to the ground attack wasn’t as significant. Davis’ lone carry amounted to just two yards, while Cohen toted the ball four times for minus-two yards. However, Cohen did manage to haul in two of his four targets for 26 yards.
