Right tackle Bobby Massie was a surprise no-go at the start of the game, due to an illness. Stepping in his place was Cornelius Lucas, who did a great job. Lucas held four-time Pro Bowler Ryan Kerrigan in check, preventing him from recording a single tackle or sack. As a whole, the offensive line did surrender three sacks. One of the sacks was allowed by James Daniels, which almost resulted in a safety on the Bears’ second drive of the game. Another crucial sack was given up by Charles Leno Jr. on a third down during the first drive of the game, which resulted in a punt.
