Akiem Hicks, Eddie Goldman, and Roy Robertson-Harris all played a big part in controlling the line of scrimmage against the Redskins’ defensive front, which helped hold Washington’s running game to just 69 yards. Hicks did record one of the Bears’ five takeaways with a fumble recovery, before leaving the game with a knee injury. Nick Williams also got some playing time, and ended the game with his first sack of the season.
