With an injured knee, Eddy Pineiro gutted it out and connected on a 38-yard field goal. Pineiro did miss a 44-yarder in the third quarter. However, he did make all four of his extra-point attempts. With Pineiro being limited, punter Pat O’Donnell took on the kickoff duties. Of the five kickoffs O’Donnell had, three were for touchbacks. O’Donnell also prevented a touchdown on a 45-yard kickoff return—Fuller’s interception was two plays later.
