Who are the four most underrated players on the Minnesota Vikings roster?

You are going to hear it all week. Dalvin Cook can win the game for the Vikings while Kirk Cousins is 0-2 against the Chicago Bears last season and could lose the game. Will the game come down to Cousins and Cook? Potentially.

However, there is much more to how the story will be written on both sides. That would be like saying that while Allen Robinson could win it, Mitch Trubisky could lose it. We know that underrated pieces such as Cody Whitehair, and players on defense have their say.

4. Anthony Harris

The Vikings defense has been their strength for years. However, while everyone knows the names of Everson Griffen, Danielle Hunter and Harrison Smith, Harris an ascending safety who is flying under the radar.

Harris has been great because he is a perfect complement to Smith. Smith is a star safety because of his versatility. He is highly instinctive and Mike Zimmer trusts him to freelance to make plays. You can Smith lined up next to a defensive end, linebacker, cornerback, or safety. He even can play the single high spot deep. This is great for defense, but you need a talented safety next to him to keep things in line.

Smith is able to freelance because Harris is always in his spot. He is versatile but does not overstep his boundary to make plays. So far he has two interceptions and a fumble recovery. The Bears have to spot out Smith before every snap. However, from that, they have to know not to attack Harris as a result. Understand where he is based on how Smith is playing and find ways to move the ball without forcing it to Harris.
