With Daniel under center, head coach Matt Nagy had enough faith in his backup quarterback to let him throw the ball 30 times. With 28 running plays to the running backs and receivers, Nagy showed another balance offensive attack. The reigning NFL Coach of the Year also showed his gambling side with two gutsy calls that worked out in the Bears’ favor. On Chicago’s first drive of the game, they were faced with a fourth-and-inches just past midfield and converted. Nagy rolled the dice again late in the second quarter on a fourth-and-three and got the first down. Both of those fourth-down conversions led to scores.
