With Trubisky quickly leaving the game, Chase Daniel stepped in and didn’t miss a beat. Daniel completed four of five passes for 52 yards, and threw the team’s only touchdown on the first drive. The game ended with the 11-year veteran connecting on 22 of 30 passes for 195 yards, one touchdown, zero interceptions, and a QB rating of 101.4. Daniel seemed more comfortable in the offense than Trubisky has thus far this season, and managed the game just how it was supposed to be managed.
