1. Chase Daniel

Of course, of all the players that the team needed to step up to the plate, none were more important than Chase Daniel. Daniel was 1-1 last year with the Bears, and stepped in to ensure a Bears victory in Week 4.

Mitch Trubisky got hurt on the first drive of the game. Daniel came in cold during the middle of the drive and found a way to get into the end zone. From there, the Bears had three field goal drives, one of which was directly off of a turnover.

Daniel did not necessarily set the world on fire, and you will not hear a call for quarterback controversy from this account. However, Daniel did not lose a game where his team was in control the entire time.

He got a lead, and the Vikings could not get anything going offesively. For Daniel, the name of the game is staying clean, and not turning the football over. Daniel did his job as well as you could possibly ask.
