Panic mode has set in for Chicago fans already, should Ryan Pace look to make a few moves before the trade deadline next week?

The NFL trade deadline is next Tuesday, October 29, 2019. The Chicago Bears are in a tough spot. Should they be considered buyers or sellers at this point? Do they stand pat and hope things magically turn around? The questions are endless when it comes to this team, but what about the answers.

Personally, I am upset and disappointed with how this Chicago Bears team has played this season. That said, I am not going to just start throwing out crazy ideas like Matt Nagy needs to go. Ryan Pace is trash and he needs to be fired. In fact, I am not going to tell you that the team needs to trade their future for a rental, no sure-thing quarterback to replace Mitchell Trubisky.

Nope, if the Chicago Bears are going to make any moves, it will likely need to be something small or if big, it needs to be someone who will be here for the foreseeable future. Here is the hard truth. Whether you believe in Mitchell Trubisky or not, he is going to be here through 2019 and also 2020. The way he performs over the next 10 games will determine his future.

If he wows us after a disappointing few games this year, then Ryan Pace may not look as actively in the 2020 offseason. If he plays next year like I thought he would start this year, then Nagy could look to use the fifth-year option. This would be a best-case scenario for Trubisky, but at this point, highly unlikely.

Another unlikely scenario is that Ryan Pace somehow trades Mitchell Trubisky. For those thinking or wanting that to happen, I have a reality check for you. It will not be. If the team loses to the Chargers on Sunday and both Minnesota and Green Bay win, it might be time to decide on ways to find some draft capital for 2020. Here are a few guys who could see some solid trade value.
