Chicago Bears: 4 players the team could consider trading
Danny Trevathan – ILB
This one is much harder to swallow for me. I would hate to see Danny Trevathan go. I think the team could find a way to re-sign him in the offseason, but again, Ryan Pace would have to find a way to be creative with money. Since we have seen him do things like this before, I have no doubt he could make something happen.
As much as I love Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, I believe Trevathan is a more valuable piece for the Chicago Bears. He also would likely net a lower return in the trade market. I know that sounds crazy, but linebackers are easier to come by than safeties. I would expect the Chicago Bears could get a fourth-rounder back for Trevathan though.

If Ryan Pace decides the team does not have enough money for Trevathan next season, trading him this year would be ideal as, like Clinton-Dix, Trevathan is having an excellent year statistically.
Imagine if the Bears decide to do a semi-rebuild. I mean, it seems the fans seem to want this to happen. At least on the offensive side of the ball. The thing is, their better assets in the trade market come on the defensive side of the ball. They could move on from both of these two and bring in a third and fourth-round draft pick. Two rounds the Bears do not have picks in for 2020.
This would give them more draft capital to make moves within the draft for a potential quarterback competition. As of right now, it seems this draft class could wind up being fairly deep at the position, but time will tell.
