Chicago Bears: 4 players the team could consider trading

Tarik Cohen – RB/WR

I know what you are thinking. This guy is crazy. Suggesting they trade Danny Trevathan and now Tarik Cohen. I love the human joystick as much as anyone, but he could bring some strong trade value back this season. He has one year left on his rookie contract and could you imagine him on a team like the Kansas City Chiefs or the Seattle Seahawks.

Cohen has struggled to get going this season, but I think he has shown enough value in his previous seasons that other teams would love to have him on their roster. One team he would not want to go to for sure is the New Orleans Saints, but even there I could see him making an impact. Just like Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, I would expect that Tarik Cohen could net a third-round pick.

That might be my hometown bias speaking as running backs are devalued in the NFL today. However, Cohen is more than your average running back. He is a combination running back, wide receiver who is also a valuable punt returner.

I am on the fence here as I think he will be and should be in the Chicago Bears future plans, but he is another guy to consider if Ryan Pace decides to make some crazy moves over the next week and a half.
