The Chicago Bears are struggling, but so are the Los Angeles Chargers. Not to mention, the Chargers are dealing with a plethora of injuries. Yet local and national NFL analysts seem to be siding with the Chargers.

If you are a Chicago Bears fan, the team app is a must-have on your phone. This is especially true now that they have gone to using only mobile tickets. Also, updates with articles and press conferences can be sent to you with notifications. The app has been keeping track of some national and local NFL analysts’ picks to win each week.

Courtesy of the Action Network, despite the Bears being favorites over the Los Angeles Chargers this Sunday, the 11 national and local NFL analysts the Bears have been tracking has six analysts taking the Chargers to win and only five picking the Bears. One might say that is as close to even as you could get, but that is very disappointing.

The Bears enter the game with a two-game losing streak. The team lost a winnable game in London to the Oakland Raiders and were beat bad by the New Orleans Saints last week. With how bad the offense has struggled and the outcome of the last two games, no one should be surprised that the Bears are being disrespected. However, you also have to look at their opponent.

The Los Angeles Chargers come into the game with a 2-5 record on the season. They have lost to the Denver Broncos, Detroit Lions, and most recently the Tennessee Titans. One of those wins came over the Miami Dolphins. Not a team I would take pride in beating. For as bad as the Bears have been this year, the Chargers have been even worse.

This is why Vegas has given the Bears an edge. The Chargers are traveling from the west coast to Chicago for this one. The team is dealing with a plethora of injuries now too. The team has already ruled out four players including three of their defensive lineman. Keenan Allen has not practiced the last two days either with a hamstring and is now questionable.

It does seem that the Chargers should get Melvin Ingram back though as he was a full participant in practice Friday. Like Keenan Allen, Ingram is listed as questionable for tomorrow’s game.

This is a must-win for the Bears. The team cannot afford to drop to 3-4 on the season. They have to take advantage of this opponent being weak right now. Matt Nagy and Mitchell Trubisky need to get this offense rolling. I have the them winning this game, but I think it will be another ugly win that feels too close for comfort.
