We can blame and point fingers at many players for the struggles that are taking place this season. Some will say Matt Nagy is at fault. Others will blame Ryan Pace. At this point, the only thing that matters is beating the Philadelphia Eagles.

As we headed into the 2019 season, Bears fans had nothing but Super Bowl hopes for this team. Seeing the blunders this team has gone through this year has been tough. Mitchell Trubisky has been subpar at best. The offensive line has struggled to open holes or hold blocks. Matt Nagy has made some questionable decisions and play-calls.

At one point, this team was 3-1 and now they find themselves 3-4 and in last place in the NFC North. This is not what I expected for our beloved Bears. I knew the NFC North would be tough, but I did not expect them to lose to the likes of the Oakland Raiders. I did not see them losing to a battered 2-5 Los Angeles Chargers team. Something has to change and change fast.

Can the Chicago Bears treat us to a victory on Sunday? Can they trick us into believing they could turn things around for the better? My guess is even if they win, not many fans will hop back aboard the hype train. Mitchell Trubisky could throw four touchdowns with zero interceptions and fans would not believe the team has turned a corner. Rightfully so, but what would it take?

What if the team rushed for 200 yards on top of Trubisky having a perfect passer rating? What if the defense had a shutout and caused Carson Wentz to turn the ball over four times? Well, we can play what-if games all day, but the bottom line is that the Chicago Bears have dug themselves into a major hole and climbing gack out if very difficult.

One thing is for sure though. Outside of the obvious in Mitchell Trubisky needing to play better, in order to start winning consistently, these three Bears cannot disappear like ghosts on Sunday.
