The last time the Chicago Bears faced the Philadelphia Eagles, it was in the wild card round of the NFC playoffs. As we all know, the outcome of that game wasn’t in the Bears’ favor. The 16-15 loss to the Eagles ended Chicago’s season, and dashed their hopes of making a run at the Super Bowl.
Seven games into the 2019 season, it looks like the Bears are still recovering from the aftershock of that devastating playoff defeat. Many thought Chicago would be one of the top teams in the NFC by this time of the year, but their 3-4 record says otherwise. Now they will not only be looking for revenge against the Eagles, but they will also be trying to get their season off of thin ice and back on firmer ground with this much-needed win.

Ending their three-game losing streak won’t come easy. Chicago will be on the road this Sunday, and will have to endure one of the NFL’s most hostile environments when they enter Lincoln Financial Field in the City of Brotherly Love. Although Philadelphia did win their last game, they are only 4-4, and are desperately fighting for supremacy in their respective division, or at least an NFC wild card spot in the postseason.
With both of these teams looking to get a big swing of momentum going into the heart of the 2019 season, this game has the potential to be one of the best matchups in Week 9. Without any further delay, here are the things you should look for when the Bears clash with the Eagles on Sunday.
