
Chicago Bears kick off the second half of the season this Sunday against the Detriot Lions, so I thought it’d be a good time to recap the first half and give my second-half predictions.
The Chicago Bears definitely had a rough first half to the season, hopefully, they can pick it up and turn this season around in the second half
First Half – Weeks 1 – 4
They started out the 2019 season against divisional rivals, The Green Bay Packers in Soldier Field, Celebrating the 100th season of the NFL. Bears fans were so pumped up for this game. Unfortunately, the Chicago Bears ended up not showing up to the game, as they embarrassed us fans by losing 10-3.
After having 10 days off, the Bears traveled to Denver to face off against their former defensive coordinator, Vic Fangio, and the Broncos. It went back and forth all game, but in the 4th quarter with eight seconds left in the game, Mitchell Trubisky found Allen Robinson to put the team in field goal position.

Bears fans on their hands and knees, hoping that Eddy Pineiro would make the game-winning field goal. Thankfully, he ended up making the 53-yard game-winning field goal, capturing the team’s first win of the season.
After capturing their first win in Denver, The Bears flew to Washington DC to face off against a struggling Washington Redskins team. Most fans thought this would be quite an easy win, and in that case, it was. They ended up blowing past the Redskins, and Trubisky had his best game of the season.
Heading into week four of the season, the Bears are looking to keep their 2 game winning streak alive as they head back to Chicago to face off against their divisional rivals, the Minnesota Vikings. Mitchell Trubisky ended up leaving the game after dislocating his shoulder in the first quarter of the game But Chase Daniel and the defense came up clutch capturing their 3rd straight win.
