The win against the Lions has relinquished the Chicago Bears skid. Time will tell if the Bears can use this win as a fresh start for a push to the playoffs.

Rejoice Bears fans, Club Dub is back open for business. The Chicago Bears overcame a 4 game losing streak on Sunday to beat the Matthew Stafford less Detroit Lions at Soldier Field. While it was far from pretty, the old adage still rings true, a win is a win. The Chicago Bears team and fan base desperately needed this win. After feeling and showing signs of being depleted the last four weeks, this win can be used as a much-needed refresher to the season.

While the Bears still have a tough road ahead to gain momentum for their playoff push, their team-focused win on Sunday can help jolt them back in the hunt. The NFL is a crazy league where unimaginable things happen every season, and it wouldn’t be impractical for this Bears team to sneak their way in. If they are going to do so, it’s going to be a tough road ahead.

Barring an implosion from the Green Bay Packers, the only way for the Bears to have a chance is to make it as a wildcard team in the very stingy NFC. There are a few teams that be can be considered elite in the NFC right now and they are the Packers, Saints, and 49ers. However, seeing how the Falcons dominated the Saints, it only proves that can any team can be beaten.

The best way will probably be through the Minnesota Vikings and the great thing for the Bears is they already have a win over them. If the Bears are going to be serious contenders they need to continue building from last week. Here are three ways the Bears can continue to push towards a postseason birth.
