Chicago Bears: 3 Bold Predictions vs. Rams
Mitchell Trubisky vs Jared Goff
Mitchell Trubisky will outperform Jared Goff
If the Bears want to walk out of LA with a win, then Trubisky needs to perform at his best. No excuses.
Both quarterbacks aren’t performing this year as they should. But after having a slow start to the season, Trubisky is looking to get back on track.
Trubisky also has an 85.2 passer rating so far this season, while Goff has an 82.7 passer rating. Trubisky has 8 passing touchdowns and 3 interceptions, while Goff has 11 passing touchdowns with 9 interceptions.
Since moving Cody Whitehair back to Center last week, Trubisky looked more comfortable in the pocket and was able to get the ball out accurately.
Blocking Aaron Donald will be a tough task for Whitehair and James Daniels, so the Bears’ receivers will have to get open quickly so that Trubisky can find them.
Also, the Bears offense is slightly better than the Rams. David Montgomery is performing better than Gurley, Robinson is performing better than all Rams receivers except Cooper Kupp, and both teams’ tight ends match up equally. So, in other words, Trubisky has a better offense than Goff. And my exact reason why he will outperform Goff Sunday Night.
