Here we are at Week 12 of the 2019 NFL season, and the Chicago Bears are desperately hanging on for dear life. Even with an abysmal 4-6 record, the Bears are still in the hunt for a wild card spot in the playoffs (believe it or not). However, with teams in the NFC North and the NFC West with such great records, the margin of error for Chicago is virtually nonexistent. One more lose, and the Bears can pretty much kiss their postseason aspirations goodbye.

This week, Chicago will have the 2-8 New York Giants coming to town. Of course, many would look at the Giants’ record and say that this should be an easy win for the Bears. But let’s not forget that these two teams squared off last season. Chicago was a big favorite to win that game, but was upset by the G-Men 30-27 in overtime.

For the Bears, there were many things that stood out in that heartbreaking defeat, but running back Tarik Cohen shined the most. Cohen finished that contest with 20 touches for 186 yards from scrimmage, and a touchdown pass late in the fourth quarter that sent the game into overtime. A repeat performance such as that could definitely boost the energy of this offense, and this team as a whole.

Because of that game, New York just might be highly focused on Cohen. But for Bears fans, what should that be focused on in Week 12? Take a look and see what those five important things are.
