The 2019 season for the Chicago Bears is pretty much over. Now, it is time to start looking ahead to rebuilding and refitting this team. What are the areas of need for the Bears on offense and should they fill these needs through the draft?

The Chicago Bears are a team in transition. After such a promising year last season, they fell and fell hard in 2019 looking like just a shadow of what they were in 2018. Now they need to pick up the pieces and try to become competitive again.

The only way that they are going to become competitive is to rebuild wisely both through free agency and the draft. The Bears have fared well with some of their draft picks and faltered on others but they need to be smart this coming draft because it’s going to make or break this team.

In other words, Pace needs to get moving and not make the same mistakes that he has made with other draft picks in the past.

The good news may be that the Bears don’t have a first-round draft pick that they can fail on. They will wish that they had one though because they could get some good talent that could help propel the team forward. However, Pace is not 100% on his first-round picks so maybe the Bears are lucky they do not own one.

In the following slideshow, we take a look at the Bears’ top five biggest needs on offense. We will see why this is a need and what could be done to fix this need. There is an insight into the current player or players at that position and what might happen to them during the offseason.

This list is in no particular order.
