The Chicago Bears have had a long list of injuries. Which has had the worst impact?

This is not to say that the Chicago Bears are much better, or that Mitch Trubisky deserves another chance. However, a big difference between 2018 and 2019 is that the 2018 team stayed relatively healthy. When they missed players it was for a game or two.

The Bears are starting to rack up important injuries. While this is a bit unfortunate, it also can speak to the lack of depth on the current roster. They did not have adequate players to step up.

Which positions were affected the most by an injury?

5. Danny Trevathan

Trevathan has missed two games now, and his return is nowhere in sight. However, while some of the other inures will shine a light into the depth, the emergence of Nick Kwiatkoski has been noted.

Sure, he played against Jeff Driskel, Jared Goff, and Daniel Jones. He even was taken off the field for passing downs against Goff. Still, his run impact  is noted, and as long as he can avoid being exposed in the passing game, it is good enough.

The impact will be felt over the next few weeks. Trevathan brings a lot more to the table than Kwiatkoski. The communication and coverage will be exposed in doses. However, compared to some of the other injuries on the roster, the Bears were actually prepared with an experienced back up.
