Can Offense Gain 300-Plus Yards for the Third-Straight Game?

Virtually all season, the Bears’ offense has struggled to gain yards. Entering Week 14, Chicago has averaged just 281.1 total yards from scrimmage per game (29th in the league). But in each of the last two games, the Bears have gained 300-plus yards from scrimmage. The only other time their offense gained over 300 total yards this season was in their Week 8 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.

Quarterback Mitchell Trubisky is coming off of his best game of the year, having thrown for 338 yards and three touchdowns. Dallas has the league’s eighth-ranked defense, and is also eighth in defending the pass. This might be a bit of an obstacle for Trubisky, so that makes it that much more important for the running game to be productive against the Cowboys’ 16th-ranked run defense.
