The Chicago Bears are starting to get consistent production out of Anthony Miller

Mitch Trubisky has been a major disappointment this season, and a strong finish will not change that. However, it is fair to note that while Trubisky has struggled, he has not had much help. The play calling, the offensive line, the pass catchers have all let him down at one point or another.

However, as the Chicago Bears have gone 3-1 in the past four games, some of the pieces have come to life. The biggest being Anthony Miller. Miller had a career day on Thanksgiving, hauling in nine balls for 140 yards. He was targeted 13 times, as he was a clear focus of the offense.

While the big game is impressive, his last three weeks show a trend of things that may be still to come.

Miller has 33 targets in the past three weeks. Miller had 33 targets in the first nine games as well. 21 of his 37 catches have come in the past three games, and 281 of his 479 yards came in that span as well. That is right, 50% of his targets, 57% of his catches and 56% of his yards this year have come in the past three weeks. Talk about a hot streak.

Matt Nagy has mentioned attention to detail and doing the little things when it comes to Miller. He talked about his timing in the offense, and it seemed like it was something he would never pick up.

When a bad route led to a ball going off his fingertips, many called for him to be benched. However, he has responded from a low point in his season and has since given the team career-highs. Hopefully, Miller can continue this run, and finish the season on a high note that leads to a strong 2020.
