If the Chicago Bears want to win a huge game against Green Bay, they need to start by winning these individual matchups

I do not need to tell you how important this game is. The Chicago Bears have a slim chance to make the playoffs, and that chance will go to none with a loss to their rivals. On the other end, a win against Green Bay gives them revenge for Week 1, and it keeps the dream alive. If the team can get some help, they could be right in the mix.

With that in mind, the Chicago Bears have a real chance to win this game. For as hot as Chicago has been the past four weeks, Green Bay has started to cool down.

If the Bears want to pull off the upset, they are going to have to win these five matchups

Jesper Horsted vs Tight end defense

The Packers are soft in the middle of their defense. The Packers currently rank 32nd in the NFL in tight end defense, letting 61% of passes to tight ends to be successful. They also allow 8.6 yards per attempt when teams throw to tight ends.

They have not been able to stop this area of the field all year. One of the Bears’ biggest struggles is that they have not been able to get tight ends going in their offense. This is a Matt Nagy staple, and injuries have left him scrambling at a key position.

However, in recent weeks Jesper Horsted has arrived. Horsted has six receptions for 58 yards in the past three games. He is coming off of his career-high in catches and yards and caught a touchdown the week before.

Horsted is not an elite talent who will destroy Green Bay. However, in a plus matchup, he can move the chains and provide red zone help. Another career day from Horsted could lead to a win.
