4. Prince Amukamara

Amukamara is more obvious, and likely than Hicks to miss the rest of the year. To start, he does have an injury excuse built-in, missing Week 15 against Dallas. He played in Week 16, but not a full game. In fact, after a missed tackle that led to an Aaron Jones touchdown, we did not see him the rest of the game.

Instead, we saw Kevin Toliver. Toliver is a UDFA with a handful of NFL starts now. Amukamara is a veteran cornerback who is likely to be released this offseason, if not have his contract restructured. The Bears know what they have and need to do with Amukamara.

However, their confidence in Toliver would go a long way in knowing what decisions need to be made at cornerback this offseason, With two games left, they have two games to find out everything they can about Toliver, the good, bad and ugly. There is no great reason to play Amukamara and serious advantages to playing Toliver. Do not be surprised if this move happens.
