4. Josiah Deguara

Best NFL Role: U, H-back

Deguara is a fascinating player who could become a versatile fit in Chicago. Deguara is a former wide receiver, but do not let that fool you. He is an excellent blocker. Deguara may not have the prototypical size of a tight end who will blow defensive ends off of the line of scrimmage.

However, he brings a mean streak, and when pulling across the line or getting to the second level against a linebacker, you can Deguara work.

He obviously brings hands, but his best-receiving work is with the ball in his hands. Deguara is a smooth mover in the open field and interesting prospect in all areas.

His lack of elite size and movement skills make him a perfect U-tight end option in the NFL. He can also slide into the backfield and work as a FB type of player. The Bears have not had a full-back since Michael Burton, who was an old-school full back.

Adding a full back who can catch would add an element to the offense similar to the Patriots with James Devlin or 49ers with Kyle Juscyk. It adds a serious level of versatility. Look for Deguara to show his versatility this week.
